Se ela cai, eu caio; se ela sobe... Eu caio.
Octopuses are masters of self-defense
They're some of the smartest animals on Earth
And they've had roughly 296 million years to develop their skills
Most cephalopods have special cells called chromatophores that allow them to change color
The mimic octopus camouflages itself as different species - its camouflaging goes beyond color
They imitate other species' behaviors to deter predators or draw in prey
The blue-ringed octopus flashes bright blue when it feels threatened
They're one of the world's most venomous marine animals
The southern sand octopus lacks chromatophores, but stays safe another way -
It shoots water into the sand to create a sort of quicksand... And then it hides
The coconut octopus uses coconut shells, bottles and other objects as shelter
It will even carry the pieces with it to use later
These squishy creatures are seriously geniuses!
And... Unfortunately... So are you.
